Lamborghini Countach 2022
The enigmatic series in the supercar annals returns in the form of a retro-inspired, limited-edition 2022 Lamborghini Countach. Although it's essentially a redesigned Aventador with the heart and soul of a Sian, the Italian automaker has done a superb job of reinventing the original's distinctive design for a modern audience. The reinvented wedge lacks the original pop-up headlights and massive rear spoiler that graced it in later years, but the signature hexagonal wheel arches and scissor doors are present. Unlike the old Countach, the new one features a small electric motor powered by a supercapacitor, which is paired with a powerful V-12 midrange motor to produce a combined output of 802hp. Lamborghini claims that this powertrain will help it accelerate from zero to 100 km/h in 2.8 seconds and have a top speed of 221 km/h. Engine, Transmission, and Performance
Underneath the old-fashioned, lightweight carbon-fiber bodywork lies a modern powertrain. In the center of the car is a 6.5-liter V-12 electric motor. The small electric motor draws power from the supercapacitor and combines with the large fuel engine for a total of 802 horsepower. This is sent to all four wheels through a computer-controlled seven-speed transmission. Considering that the Countach weighs 3,516 kg, the company's dry claims that it will accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.8 seconds and to 124 km/h in 8.4 seconds don't seem far-fetched. Also, Lamborghini says it has a top speed of 221 mph. Each Countach rides on 20-inch front wheels and 21-inch rear wheels. With traditional rear-wheel steering, this rare coupe shouldn't be too difficult to maneuver in tight spaces. Interior, Comfort, and Cargo
While the exterior of the Countach looks eerily similar to its predecessor, today's version is noticeably more modern on the inside. The only notable feature of the Back to the Future is the red and black interior of the version that Lamborghini introduced to the world. Otherwise, the two-seat cabin is similar to what we see in other modern Lambos. There is a fully digital dashboard, a buttonless steering wheel with the help of huge paddle shifters and a host of switches and other controls on the center console. While the Countach's cabin can be customized to customer preferences, there's no getting around the lack of storage space
Infotainment and Connectivity
As with other Lamborghinis, the Countach's infotainment unit is an afterthought. Most importantly, it works via a vertically oriented 8.0-inch touchscreen that allows customers to play a song or monitor the radio, directly access vehicle settings and functions, and make a variety of different change
