Lamborghini Aventador 2020

Lamborghini Aventador 2020

With an aggressive looking body and stunning overall performance, the 2020 Lamborghini Aventador excels in every nuance of the word.  It was also the last generation to die, with the hybrid generation expected to honor Fate's version of the V-12 supercar.  Still, the scissor-door Lambo rockets off into the sunset with impressive acceleration and insane exhaust noise.  The hardtop variant omitted the removable top, but lacked the spirit of a roofless roadster.  Those looking for the best in performance and conditions will need the better SVJ model.  Sure, the 2020 Aventador is old and heavy by supercar standards, but we urge everyone to find a more immersive Lamborghini

What's New for 2020

With the Aventador, launched in 2011, nearing the end of its life, it looks like Lamborghini will return to Cameracy with a convertible model of the SVJ version for 2020, but has speed, with a peak power of 759 horsepower, and the same 12-217 mph coupe is around $50,000

Engine, Transmission, and Performance

The 2020 Aventador's powertrain hierarchy starts with a 6.5-liter mid-stroke V12 engine that produces 730 hp and 509 lb-ft of torque, sent to the wheels via a seven-speed automatic transmission. This basic setup is shared by many of the Big Three's variants, but the track-focused SVJ (which stands for Superveloce Jota) features several upgrades that deliver more horsepower and torque across all four wheels. We rode this highly efficient monster with its roofless partner and witnessed first-hand its incredible acceleration and kidney-damaging cornering performance. The powerful engines take corners, but the excellent rear-wheel grip and steering help them turn. We've touted the Aventador S and Aventador S Roadster models, and the latter's excellent descent capability adds a terrific technological timbre to the appealing V-12 timbre

Fuel Economy and Real-World MPG

With its single-digit fuel financing system, the Aventador ranks as the least environmentally friendly vehicle on the market. The EPA expects all models to get nine mpg city and 15 mpg highway. While we haven't had a chance to check government estimates on our 200-mile route, we think real-world mpg will vary

Interior, Comfort, and Cargo

In standard Lamborghini design, every Aventador is backed by strong, quick-opening scissor doors. The interior shows a reduced lifespan compared to today's supercar competitors, but it can be equipped with several premium components and special features. However, the cabin no longer holds many small items, and luggage space is limited. The dashboard is equipped with a virtual set of instruments that change skins with performance modes: Strada, Sport and Corsa; In Ego mode, you can adjust the powertrain, steering, and suspension settings

Infotainment and Connectivity

Unfortunately, the Aventador's slick infotainment tools lagged behind with outdated visuals and cumbersome integrations. In addition to voice messaging and Apple CarPlay features, the company offers a performance stats recorder that stores lap times and music stats. An upgraded sound suite that offers a door-mounted subwoofer and interior speakers is also on the list

Safety and Driver-Assistance Features

The 2020 Aventador has not been tested by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) or the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS). Lamborghini also skipped a generation of stress-reducing driving aids on a very good car
